CardioWatch Pro Privacy Policy

Summary

CardioWatch Pro ("the App") is published by Zen Mind Studio. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the App handles your data.

The short version: all your health data stays on your device. The App reads health data from Apple HealthKit with your permission, analyzes it entirely on your iPhone, and never collects, transmits, or stores any personal or health data on external servers.

Data we access

CardioWatch Pro requests read-only access to the following HealthKit data types on your iPhone:

• Electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings from Apple Watch
• Heart rate measurements
• Heart rate variability (HRV / SDNN) readings
• Resting heart rate
• Sleep analysis data
• Step count and exercise minutes
• Respiratory rate
• Blood oxygen saturation (SpO2)
• VO2 Max

This data is accessed solely to provide the App's core functionality: stress tracking, ECG analysis, and health trend visualization.

How we use your data

All data processing occurs entirely on your device:

• ECG signal processing and interval measurement (QTc, PR, QRS) are performed locally.
• Stress level calculation based on HRV is performed locally.
• Trend analysis and lifestyle factor correlation are performed locally.
• PDF report generation is performed locally.
• No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.

Data storage

• All health data and analysis results are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
• Data is not backed up to iCloud by default.
• You can delete all App data by uninstalling the App.

Data sharing

• We do not share your data with any third party.
• We do not use any analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We do not display advertisements.
• The only way your data leaves your device is if you explicitly choose to export a PDF report and share it yourself (for example, with your doctor).

HealthKit integration

• CardioWatch Pro accesses HealthKit data only with your explicit permission.
• You can revoke access at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → CardioWatch Pro.
• We only request read access; we never write data to HealthKit.

In-app purchases

Subscription and purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information.

Children's privacy

CardioWatch Pro is not intended for use by children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
